Flame Straightening
PROCESS DESCRIPTION
When flame straightening, small areas of a metallic component are heated using a fuel gas/oxygen flame. Hot metal becomes fluid, expands and compresses. When cooled it reverts to becoming solid, shrinks and applies tensile stress to the rest of the component.
MESSER SOLUTION
Fuel gas and oxygen are used to create the flame. Messer supplies gases and know-how for your requirements.
