Messer - Our Approach
Projects in the food sector
The variety of products in the food industry is as extensive as the variety of our applications in this segment. The areas of cooling and freezing, transport cooling and inert gas packaging are only a small part of it. Every project is unique, which is why we work on tailor-made solutions every day.
In the area of food applications, we offer our customers all-round support for their projects - from the first request to the successfully implemented process. Subject to individual modifications in each case our approach usually consists of the following steps:
- Initial conversation for clarity on the customer’s situation and wishes
- Joint inspection of the existing installation:
Exact knowledge of the customer process helps us to really understand the requirements and then work out all possibilities for problem solving.
- Trials to identify the optimum process parameters:
Trials can be conducted in our technical centre for food applications or directly at the customer site. For trials at the production site we are able to supply our customers with our mobile trial equipment. Of course, such trials are planned, supported and documented by one of our experienced application engineers. In the case of long term trials, we can provide support with our rental equipment.
- A tailor made solution for each individual project:
With the help of our trial results we can work out the best solution for our customers. We offer a complete solution including planning, procurement, installation and commissioning.
- Safety training for your employees:
Safety is of the highest priority. Therefore we provide training for employees on the correct handling of our gases and the equipment used.
- Our projects don’t stop after commissioning:
We are available for further questions and support if needed. After sales service is just as important to us as optimal project completion.
In addition to completely new installations we also provide optimisation of existing customer processes such as the refurbishment of existing equipment in order to achieve greater productivity.
